Viki

Victoi's AI companion. Cited web answers, voice and chat, money / trade / travel actions, and about 120 languages.

Viki

Overview

Viki is Victoi's AI companion — a voice and chat assistant that lives inside the app and acts on the user's behalf. Viki is not a chatbot bolted onto a finance app. It is the face of Victoi, designed so that asking Viki is the fastest way to do anything across the product: send money, place a trade, book a flight, run a savings circle, draft a message, or get a cited answer to a question about the live world.

Viki is built around three ideas:

  • One identity, many bodies. The same Viki speaks in chat, in voice, in voice notes inside a Messager thread. The persona, values, and memory are the same regardless of the modality.
  • Act, not just answer. Viki executes actions inside the user's account — moving money, opening trades, booking trips, organising plans — with the user confirming the final step.
  • In your language. Viki supports about 120 languages out of the box and follows the user when they switch mid-sentence.

Key features

Search and answers

  • Real-time web search. Viki can search the open web and return reasoned answers with sources cited, the way a research assistant would.
  • Grounded in the live world. Answers about prices, schedules, news, weather, regulations, or anything that changes are sourced from the live web at the moment of the question, not from training data.
  • Inside your finances. Viki can also answer about your own account — balances, recent transactions, positions, upcoming Jangi cycles — without the user re-typing context.

Actions

  • Send money. "Send €50 to Sarah," "convert £200 to USDC," "top up my wallet from my bank" — Viki drafts the action, the user confirms in one tap.
  • Trade. "Buy $20 of Apple," "sell half my SOL," "show me the AI theme" — Viki opens the right screen with the order pre-filled.
  • Book travel. "Find me a flight to Lagos next Friday under $600," "book that hotel in Lisbon for two nights" — Viki searches, shortlists, and prepares the booking for confirmation.
  • Organise. "Start a Jangi with these five people, $50 a week, random order," "open a fundraiser for Maria's wedding," "set up a survey in the family group" — Viki creates the structure; the user reviews and approves.
  • Compose. Voice notes, group messages, captions, drafts — Viki helps write what the user wants to say.

Voice

  • Real conversation. Viki listens, thinks, and speaks in real time. There is no push-to-talk button on every turn; the conversation flows naturally.
  • Warm, human voice. The default voice is a warm, expressive voice rather than a robotic one.
  • Hands-free for the things you do most. Send, convert, check, search — all by voice when that is faster.

Languages

  • About 120 languages. From widely-spoken languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, French, Portuguese, Swahili, Bengali, Russian, Japanese) to many regional and minority languages.
  • Switch mid-conversation. Viki picks up the new language and replies in kind.
  • Right-to-left scripts supported. Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu and others render natively.

Memory

  • Persistent across modalities. What you told Viki in chat, Viki remembers in voice. What you set up in voice, Viki references in chat.
  • In your control. The memory is yours; you can review and clear it.

How it works

  1. Tap Viki, or just speak. Viki is reachable from a single button on the home screen and from inside any product context (a chat thread, a stock page, a Jangi).
  2. Ask in plain language. No special syntax. Viki listens or reads, then either answers, searches the web, or proposes an action.
  3. Confirm if money is involved. For any action that moves money, opens a position, or commits a booking, Viki shows the prepared action and waits for one-tap confirmation.
  4. Carry on. Viki keeps context across turns and across modalities — switch from voice to chat, the conversation continues.

Use cases

  • A user asks "what was that Brazilian company that makes the digital signature thing?" — Viki searches the web, returns a cited answer, and offers to open the stock page.
  • A user says, while walking, "send 25 dollars to Diego for the dinner last night" — Viki drafts the transfer to Diego (whoever Diego is in their contacts), and the user confirms with a tap.
  • A user planning a trip says "find me three flights to Nairobi next month under $700, morning departures, one stop max" — Viki returns a shortlist with sources and pre-filled bookings.
  • A user asks "how is my portfolio doing today?" — Viki summarises the day's move in the user's own currencies and reads the headline news on the holdings that moved most.
  • A new user who speaks Hausa asks Viki to set up their first Jangi entirely in Hausa; Viki configures the group, names, contribution amount, and cadence — and the confirmation screen renders in Hausa too.

FAQ

What can Viki do? Answer questions with live, cited web sources; move money; open trades; book travel; run Jangi setups, fundraisers, surveys, and events inside Messager; draft messages and voice notes. Anything a user can do in the app, Viki can help with — final confirmation for anything irreversible is always on the user.

Is Viki always listening? No. Viki listens only when the user opens a voice conversation. Outside of that there is no background listening.

Are Viki's answers accurate? Viki searches the live web and cites its sources, so the user can check the original. For account questions (balances, positions, transactions) the answer comes from the user's own account data. For anything safety- or money-critical Viki defers to a confirmation step.

Which languages does Viki speak? About 120 languages. Mid-conversation switches are supported.

Can Viki really move my money? Viki can prepare any action that moves money — sending, converting, topping up, trading, booking — and the user confirms the final step. Viki never acts on money without a confirmation from the user.

What does Viki know about me? What you've shared with Viki, plus what is inside your Victoi account (balances, recent transactions, positions, contacts, upcoming Jangi cycles). The memory is yours to review and clear.

Is Viki private? Yes. Conversations with Viki are encrypted in transit. Viki is not a public broadcast — what you say to Viki is between you, your account, and Victoi.
